Real petite sirah darkness shows all the way to the edge, with a vibrant opaque ruby-magenta color. Spicy hints of cinnamon, sweet chocolate, menthol, and ripe plum on the nose. Full bodied, high toned, dark plum, anise and cinnamon flavors are framed by bright, crisp acidity and a slight touch of oak on the finish. Opens up beautifully with time in the glass. Will age gracefully for 5-7 years and beyond. Decanting will bring out its bountiful volume now. |
